Senior Tender Management Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Tender Management Specialist to join our team. This is a high-profile role in the IT industry where you will play a critical part in developing and maintaining relationships with government clients.

About the Role

This senior-level position requires someone with extensive experience in GeM portal operations, tender management, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • GeM Portal Operations: Manage and oversee GeM portal operations, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing.
  • Tender Management: Lead end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts including preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate between internal technical teams and public sector clients to deliver tailored IT solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in GeM operations and government tender management.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies.
  • Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with major IT vendors (HP, Dell, Microsoft, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Previous experience in B2G sales.
  • Certification in project management (PMP) or procurement.
