We are seeking a highly skilled expert to join our team as an Underwriting Enablement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming underwriting expertise into actionable training and quality standards.

You will empower community reviewers to effectively learn the fundamentals of retail/home-loan underwriting and curate AI model responses with precision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for non-specialists, covering essential topics such as Financial Obligations to Income Ratio (FOIR), Debt-to-Income (DTI), Loan-to-Value (LTV), income stability, bureau interpretation, and documentation hygiene.
  • Design and implement effective training methodologies, including micro-curricula, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality rubrics, and data needs assessments.
  • Collaborate with data and model teams to refine AI models and ensure accurate decision-making.
  • Champion ethics and privacy in training and review workflows, ensuring compliance and fairness in decision rationales.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in retail/home-loan underwriting, with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
  • Proven training or mentorship experience, with a strong ability to teach beginners and non-technical learners.
  • Strong grasp of calculations and documents, including FOIR/DTI/LTV/Emergency Mortgage Insurance (EMI), income proofs, bank statements, and credit bureau reports.
  • Fluency in English and Telugu.
