Property Acquisition Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Property Identification:
    • Conduct market research to identify suitable locations for new retail stores, analyzing local demographics, footfall potential, and competitive landscapes.
    • Assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility, preparing basic reports with key findings and recommendations.
  • Site Visits & Initial Assessments:
    • Visit properties to assess their suitability, considering factors such as location, accessibility, and visibility.
    • Compile reports detailing key findings and recommendations for shortlisted properties.
  • Negotiation Support:
    • Support senior managers in negotiating lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers.
    • Coordinate the gathering of necessary documents and follow-up communications with property owners or agents.
  • Coordination & Documentation:
    • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to compile and review documents related to property acquisition and agreements.
    • Maintain accurate records of property details, contracts, and approvals.
  • Vendor & Broker Relations:
    • Establish relationships with brokers, agents, and developers to stay informed about new property listings.
    • Manage broker communications and coordinate property inquiries.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Assistance:
    • Ensure all legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties.
    • Support the obtaining of necessary permits and approvals in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Reporting & Feedback:
    • Prepare regular updates and summaries on property acquisition progress for the team or management.
    • Provide feedback on challenges and opportunities during the acquisition process.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of real estate laws and property regulations.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
