Assistant Agency Manager Job Description

This is a key leadership role in our health insurance agency business.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving agency success by building and growing the health insurance business across assigned locations, recruiting, onboarding, and training insurance agents for successful activation, coaching agents to enhance productivity, customer engagement, and overall performance, and implementing agency best practices across all locations.
  • Achieving revenue, premium, and profitability targets for your region, driving renewal business to meet defined goals, providing strategic insights based on local market dynamics to inform business plans, and designing and implementing location-specific business development strategies.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and support functions, creating an engaging and motivating environment for agents, monitoring agent performance and providing ongoing coaching through regular reviews, and ensuring that all agents are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field, proficiency in computer applications and digital tools, strong communication, interpersonal, and team management skills, 3-4 years of experience in insurance, sales, or agency management, proven track record of consistently achieving business targets, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and highly motivated, self-starter with a proactive approach.
