Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled database administrator to lead our database operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, as well as experience with Cassandra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain large-scale databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Design and implement database architectures to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and execute database backup and recovery plans to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to our database infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in database administration with expertise in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra.
  • Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and modern automation tools is a plus.
