Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain relational database systems.">
  • Monitor database performance and tune queries, indexes, and configurations to ensure optimal response times.">
  • Ensure data security, integrity, backup, and recovery processes are in place and regularly tested.">
  • Automate routine database maintenance and deployment tasks using CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.">

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.">
  • Strong hands-on experience with MySQL and expertise in database monitoring tools.">
  • Deep understanding of query optimization and indexing strategies.">
  • Experience with backup, recovery, replication, clustering, and failover strategies.">
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, shell scripting, and automation tools.">
  • Good understanding of APIs and application-database interactions.">
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based databases.">
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance standards, and healthcare data privacy regulations.">
  • Prior exposure to healthcare or health-tech systems.">
