Cloud Database Specialist

Are you a skilled cloud database professional with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure? We have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Database Specialist to join our team

As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for supporting the migration of databases from on-premises to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all database systems are secure, available, and performing optimally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain OCI networking, compute, storage, and database services.
  • Support database migration from on-premises to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Develop, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle databases and associated applications.
  • Monitor and enhance performance, security, and availability of database systems.
  • Ensure robust backup and recovery strategies using OCI tools.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and provide support during implementation and testing phases.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in OCI projects, including networking and database management.
  • Strong hands-on skills with OCI Console, CLI, and APIs; proficiency with IaaS, Terraform, and Ansible is desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database 19c and Oracle E-Business Suite v12.2.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Middleware, WebLogic Suite, and Exadata Cloud Service.
  • Experience with cloud CI/CD tools (preferred) and the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area.
