About this Role:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the full lifecycle support of client's database(s), including RAC and non-RAC for OLTP and warehouse, Active DataGuard for DR, partitioning on 12c and 19c in premises and cloud environments.
This role requires a strong development background and analytical skills to drive database architecture, design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, PL/SQL programming, backup & recovery concepts, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
- Full life cycle support of client's database(s) with focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Patching and maintenance experience is essential for Oracle Exadata.
- Database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning responsibilities.
- Collaboration with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT and Prod databases.
