We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead our Chemicals and Materials practice. This is a six-month contract position.

Our focus lies in market assessment, entry strategies, distribution channel analysis, due diligence, acquisition screening, identification of unmet needs, customer perception, retention, and satisfaction across the chemicals and related process industries and consumer goods/consumer healthcare industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive research projects and deliverables
  • Oversee project teams and write reports
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop study scope, scheduling, budget, and client deliverables
  • Promote staff performance to complete studies successfully
  • Evaluate content and quality of studies
  • Prepare reports for studies
  • Work with project teams to conduct analysis, develop appraisals, recommendations, presentations, and supporting documentation
  • Present findings to clients
  • Carry out primary interviews to gather critical insights and information
  • Aid in practice growth and development
  • Develop/refine proposals in response to client requests
  • Maintain and develop client relationships
  • Assist with business development meetings and presentations
  • Identify enhancements to project deliverables and work processes
  • Support junior staff development
  • Fifteen years of experience in consulting within the chemical industry
  • Experience developing, managing, and presenting project results to senior management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve results exceeding client expectations
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering (preferably Chemical), or a related field; MBA is beneficial
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Foreign language skills are advantageous
  • Strong oral and written English language skills are required
