Job Title: Business Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Director to spearhead growth in multiple technical textile verticals.

This key role involves driving business expansion, managing profit and loss statements, sales, margins, and collections while strengthening supplier and dealer networks.

The ideal candidate will work closely with product development (PD) and research and development (R&D) teams to innovate and develop new products.

In addition, the selected candidate will build and lead sourcing, quality, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.

The successful applicant will have a strong track record of sales and business development, deep technical knowledge in textiles, and proven leadership skills in cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and expansion through strategic planning and execution.
  • Manage profit and loss statements, sales, margins, and collections effectively.
  • Strengthen relationships with suppliers and dealers to ensure a robust supply chain.
  • Collaborate with PD and R&D teams to drive innovation and product development.
  • Build and lead high-performing sourcing, quality, and operations teams.

Requirements:

  • 10-25 years of experience in trading or manufacturing setups, preferably in technical textiles.
  • A strong track record of sales and business development, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Deep technical knowledge in textiles, including materials science and production processes.
  • A robust network of suppliers and dealers, with established relationships and partnerships.
  • Proven leadership skills in cross-functional teams, with experience in team management and development.
