About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team as a Senior Accountant.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing client accounting projects and migration projects from other accounting software to Zoho Books.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about finance and accounting, and has experience in handling complex financial tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

In addition, they will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client accounting projects, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and vendor bill preparation.
  • Migrate data from other accounting software to Zoho Books, ensuring accurate and complete transfer of financial data.
  • Prepare and submit invoices for approval, and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop customized solutions to meet client needs, and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • IPCC cleared with articleship experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proficiency in using online accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, FreshBooks, Xero, and Zoho Books.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
