Backend Developer Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to play a key role in the development of our Prop-tech Platform, an innovative digital real estate platform.

The ideal candidate will design and build scalable and secure RESTful APIs to serve all frontend clients. They will develop the core business logic for all platform features, including user authentication, property management, search algorithms, and monetization systems.

The successful applicant will have expertise in designing and building service-oriented architectures, experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), and proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python with Django/Flask, Node.js with Express).

They will also have strong knowledge of software security principles and best practices, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and deploying applications in a cloud environment, as well as solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs to serve all frontend clients.
  • Develop the core business logic for all platform features.
  • Architect and manage the platform's database schema (PostgreSQL), ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Lead the integration of numerous third-party services.
  • Collaborate with the AI/ML team to build the data pipelines and API endpoints necessary to support features like recommendation engines.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a proven track record of building and launching complex, high-traffic applications.
  • Expert proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language and framework.
  • Strong experience designing and building service-oriented architectures.
  • Deep expertise in relational database design and management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
  • Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
