Senior Backend Architect

At a leading tech firm, we seek an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead our backend development efforts.

About the Role:

We require a skilled Python developer with in-depth knowledge of backend architecture and real-time systems. This role involves architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable Python-based backend services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance Python-based backend services for AI-driven applications.
  • Develop robust APIs using FastAPI with asynchronous capabilities and validate using Pydantic.
  • Implement object-relational mapping (ORM) and migrations using SQLAlchemy and Alembic.
  • Integrate task queues using Celery and handle background processing efficiently.
  • Build and optimize database systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and related tools.
  • Integrate large language models (LLMs) into backend systems for conversational AI capabilities.
  • Apply AI/NLP libraries in production-level applications.
  • Maintain containerization using Docker and version control with Git.
  • Contribute to and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Requirements:
  • 5-6 years of experience in Python backend development, preferably in AI product environments.
  • Proven expertise in designing backend architectures from scratch for real-time or intelligent systems.
  • Strong knowledge of FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Celery, and related technologies.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and database design best practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and basic understanding of CI/CD tools and Git workflows.
