Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading product development, ensuring strategic initiatives are aligned with business objectives, and driving operational excellence. This role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, managing high-impact projects, and enhancing customer experience, regulatory compliance, and profitability.

This pivotal leadership position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.

  • Product Ideation & Market Research: Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis to inform product development decisions.
  • Product Design & Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement product design and pricing strategies that meet business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Internal Approvals & Governance: Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and procedures, and obtain necessary approvals for product launches.
  • Regulatory Filing – IRDAI Coordination: Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate filing of regulatory documents.
  • Pre-Launch Preparation & Testing: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Product Launch & Monitoring: Oversee product launch, monitor performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve product offerings.
  • Regulatory & Risk Management Post-Launch: Continuously monitor and assess product risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on product performance, progress, and future plans.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Post Graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in product development for life insurance.
