Climate Change Research Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Fellow in Climate Change Research. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and providing evidence-based insights to inform global climate policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, with expertise in climate change and energy transition. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from various backgrounds.

The Fellow will be responsible for leading and contributing to the creation of analytical research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles of the highest quality and relevance. They will also collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives, and establish a network of industry participants and collaborate with partners to enhance events and communication efforts.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking research institution committed to advancing innovative solutions for the most pressing global challenges. They will have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of focus areas, including programs focused on climate change & energy transition, economy & trade, and geopolitics & strategic studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and data analysis for focus areas.
  • Lead and contribute to the creation of analytical research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles of the highest quality and relevance.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives.
  • Establish a network of industry participants, collaborate with partners, and other influential stakeholders to enhance CRF's events and communication efforts.
  • Search for and review published literature on a research topic.
  • Supervise undergraduate project interns or other personnel on research-related tasks.
  • Assist with manuscript or grant development.
