Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer

The Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI) is a global coalition focused on promoting fair, responsible, and sustainable mica supply chains in India and Madagascar.

The position of Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer plays a vital role in supporting RMI's activities in India, particularly in the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh.

The successful candidate will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, India, working closely with RMI governance bodies, the Executive team, members, and partners under the supervision of the Director of Programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting gap assessments to identify areas for improvement against RMI's Global Workplace Standard and forthcoming mining standard;
  • Supporting processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans and monitoring progress;
  • Coordinating collective third-party audit protocols for RMI members;
  • Developing training content and conducting online or face-to-face training sessions on responsible workplace standards;
  • Ensuring quality checks on audit reports and analyzing data for presentations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong social and environmental auditing expertise, excellent coordination and monitoring skills, and experience in supply chain sustainability management.

A Master's degree in International Development, Business, Engineering/Mining, Social Auditing, or a related field, along with at least 5-10 years of experience working on related missions, is highly desirable.
