About our Supply Chain Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee procurement, logistics, and international trade operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with international trade laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies, identify and onboard global suppliers, negotiate contracts, ensure supplier compliance, and monitor market trends.
- Import & Export Management: Oversee the end-to-end import process, manage export logistics, optimize freight and shipping strategies, and collaborate with government agencies.
- Logistics & Distribution: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, oversee warehouse and inventory management, and implement best practices in transportation planning.
- Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management: Develop supply chain strategies, ensure accurate demand forecasting, implement systems for real-time inventory tracking, and reduce lead times.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to international trade laws, customs regulations, and industry standards, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement supplier audit programs.
- Cost Optimization & Process Improvement: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, leverage technology, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, foster a culture of accountability and innovation, and collaborate with finance, production, and sales teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12+ years in procurement, logistics, and international trade in a manufacturing environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Manufacturing Industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, expertise in global sourcing, customs regulations, and trade compliance, hands-on experience with ERP and supply chain management software, knowledge of INCOTERMS, trade finance, and international shipping documentation.
