**Supply Chain Management Professional**

The role of the Supply Chain Management Manager is crucial in creating orders, establishing, developing, and positioning suppliers to support a high service level. This position will play a critical role in achieving cost containment, inventory and supplier performance goals by carrying out negotiations, contract management, and order creations for our manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing orders, establishing relationships with suppliers, and developing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of supplier information, contracts, and orders.
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock control procedures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a defense/aerospace/aviation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with suppliers, especially defense commodities (propellent, explosives etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and changing environment.
