Job Title: Payroll Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Collect timesheet data and payroll information from various sources.
  • Enter data into payroll and administrative databases, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, and commissions, applying relevant laws and policies.
  • Prepare and process paychecks and cash deposits, meeting deadlines and ensuring timely payment.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions, providing transparency and accountability.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries, resolving concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes, providing valuable insights.
  • Lodge tax payments on behalf of the organization, ensuring compliance with income tax regulations.
  • Calculate termination payments, including annual leave, long service leave, and redundancy payments.
  • Fulfill e-TDS filing and form 16 requirements.
  • Generate periodic payroll reports for review by senior team members.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, fielding client queries via phone and email.
  • Manage year-end activities, ensuring a seamless transition to new fiscal periods.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field, or an MBA.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Essential Competencies:
  • Strong documentation and Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Reliability and honesty in all aspects of work.
  • Able to adapt to shift timings and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of multi-country payroll and taxation laws.
Problem-Solving & Communication Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, enabling them to navigate complex payroll scenarios and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
