Life Insurance Product Manager

About This Role

This pivotal leadership role is focused on driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting business growth.

The position involves aligning departmental goals with the company's overall vision, overseeing cross-functional teams, and managing high-impact projects to enhance customer experience, regulatory compliance, and profitability.

Main Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Market Research:

  • Develop life insurance products that meet market needs and regulations.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences.

2. Product Design & Pricing Strategy:

  • Design life insurance products that are competitively priced and appealing to customers.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance revenue targets with customer affordability.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure all life insurance products comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain effective governance processes to prevent non-compliance risks.

4. Internal Approvals & Filing:

  • Obtain necessary approvals from internal stakeholders for product launches.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies for filing and approval of life insurance products.

5. Pre-Launch Preparation & Testing:

  • Prepare life insurance products for launch by conducting thorough testing and quality assurance.

6. Go-to-Market Strategies:

  • Develop effective go-to-market strategies to promote life insurance products.

7. Product Launch & Monitoring:

  • Leverage marketing campaigns to create awareness about new life insurance products.
  • Monitor product performance and make adjustments as needed.

8. Risk Management & Stakeholder Reporting:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with life insurance products.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on product performance and progress.

Requirements

A Post Graduate with 8+ years of experience in Product Development for Life insurance is required for this role.
