Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of plant & machinery operations, playing a central role in project decision-making processes. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and oversee key personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Experience in plant & machinery management, particularly with high-rise towers.
  2. Erecting, dismantling, maintaining, and operating Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms, etc.
  3. Developing methodologies for equipment erection, operation, and preparation of checklists.
  4. Controlling spare parts inventory and optimizing costs, sourcing plant & machinery operators, mechanics, etc.
  5. Generating local reports to stakeholders on Mechanical Heads at HO/Project In-charges.
  6. Maintaining site records of equipment, including log books, preventive maintenance records, and equipment upkeep.
  7. Estimating monthly budgets for spares and running expenses for each machine and monitoring them.
  8. Training personnel on safe equipment usage and repairing/servicing procedures.
  9. Ensuring optimal P&M use corresponding to their rated productivity output.
  10. Maintaining minimum equipment breakdowns and maximum availability at sites.
  11. Scheduling services for each month based on hours/Kms running and implementing those schedules strictly.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in plant & machinery management.
