Costing and Plant Finance Professional

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Costing and Plant Finance Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports by reviewing and analyzing data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies by staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements, conducting internal audits, and implementing control measures.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing plant expenditures, including monitoring and controlling costs, ensuring cost efficiency, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Analyzing cost structures and identifying areas for cost reduction by reviewing financial data, conducting market research, and implementing process improvements.
  • Implementing cost control measures, tracking performance against cost targets, and reporting results to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field, preferably ICWA qualified or CMA semi-qualified.
  • At least 5 years of experience in costing and plant finance, with a proven track record of managing financial processes, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
