Job Title: Financial Analyst

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced financial analyst to oversee daily accounting tasks, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide accurate financial reporting to management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various aspects of financial analysis, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), ledger entries, and financial statement preparation.

  • Handle daily accounting tasks like AP, AR, and ledger entries to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and MIS reports to support management decision-making.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ITR, and other statutory requirements by staying up-to-date on regulatory changes.
  • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis to optimize business operations.
  • Support audits with proper documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Generate reports as needed by management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize costs and improve processes, ensuring the organization's financial health.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably under a Chartered Accountant (CA) or in a CA firm.
  • Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other ERP tools is an asset).
  • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances.
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred, particularly in the food and vegetable domain.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools.
