Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Directs, coordinates and supervises all electrical maintenance activities in the plant. Participates in preparing maintenance programmes, directs their implementation, examines equipment performance and provides recommendations for improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements detailed maintenance procedures to ensure safe execution.
  • Ensures timely preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Monitors equipment performance and maintenance costs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Recommends alternative maintenance frequencies based on equipment history or regular monitoring surveys.
Management of Stores Consumables:
  • Evaluates requirements for new equipment or major repairs, recommending options.
  • Ensures no material shortages and delivered materials meet required standards.
  • Optimizes consumable consumption according to the annual business plan.
5S & Safety:
  • Ensures daily 5S activities are carried out on the shop floor.
  • Ensures use of PPEs and work-specific safety equipment by all employees.
  • Conducts PEP talks/TBT before operational/maintenance activities.
Innovation, Automation & Continuous Improvement:
  • Drives continuous improvement projects to improve OEE through data analysis.
  • Performs 7 QC tool-based analysis on quality-related issues and suggests changes.
  • Drives continuous improvement projects and motivates team members for maximum participation.
  • Ensures 100% compliance with IMS standards.
People Management:
  • Completes department performance review process on time.
  • Completes skill assessment process and works towards improving individual skills.
  • Encourages team member participation in employee engagement activities.
