Cloud Infrastructure Technical Lead

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Technical Lead to spearhead complex infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers. With 12 years of IT experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience on Azure VMware Solution, as well as 5 years of experience on VMware vSphere, you will lead teams to plan, architect, and guide these projects.

Responsibilities
  • You will partner with program managers and service delivery teams to develop strategic plans and implement successful designs, deployment, and migrations.
  • Work directly with customer application infrastructure and security stakeholders to define requirements, strategy, and processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest Azure AVS and VMware products to propose innovative solutions and act as a subject matter expert for other specialists.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in designing and developing data centre and cloud infrastructures using VMware and Microsoft technologies.
  • Knowledge and implementation experience designing and developing solutions using VMware's Core Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Azure VMware Solution, VMware vSphere 6.0 and above, NSX edge services, DNS, DHCP, Gateway, Firewall, Distributed Firewall, NSX implementation, NSX migration from VLAN or NSXv, VMware vSAN, VMware HCX Advanced Enterprise, preferred: VMware Site Recovery Manager, vSphere Replication, VMware management suite, vCD, vROps, vRNI, vRLI, VMware Cloud Director, experience with on-premise to cloud or cloud to cloud migrations with VMware HCX.
  • Required: Azure ExpressRoute, Azure VPN, Azure Virtual WAN, Azure Route Server, Required: Azure networking, preferred: Azure Disk Pools, Azure NetApp Files, preferred: Azure Monitoring and Security technologies Monitor Arc Security Centre, preferred: 3rd party network virtual appliances, firewalls, load balancers, routers for Azure and VMware environments.
  • Familiarity with leading cloud management systems and solutions, strong core platform architecture concepts including hardware, platform, hypervisor, Networking, security, data protection, high availability, monitoring, ing patching, etc.
  • Good understanding of data centre networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based highly desired.
