Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients.

  • Design and build live customer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments that meet the highest standards of performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OCI services with existing IT systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of OCI services, including Compute Instances, Storage, Disaster Recovery and Backup (DRG), Internet Gateway, FastConnect, IPSec, Load Balancing (LBaaS), and more.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Configure and manage OCI tenancies, including setup and maintenance of security groups, Bastion Service access, and IPSec VPN configuration.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting tools to ensure optimal performance and uptime of OCI environments.
  • Migrate applications to OCI, configure VMs and storage, and establish backup and recovery processes.
  • Configure provisioned DB systems and Data Guard database instances, as well as DBaaS and RAC configurations across domains.
  • Manage OCI tenancy costs and implement efficient cost management strategies.

Requirements
  • Proven experience building and maintaining live customer OCI environments.
  • Proficient in IDCS integration and OCI services.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
