Job Role: Cloud Infrastructure Technical Lead

About the Job

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions using VMware and Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in architecting and designing datacentre and cloud infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with program managers and service delivery teams to plan, architect, and guide complex infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers.
  • Work directly with customer application infrastructure and security stakeholders to define requirements, strategy, and processes for successful design deployment migrations.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest on Azure AVS and VMware products to propose designs to customers and act as subject matter trainer for other specialists.
  • Share knowledge with others through solution documents, engage technical communities, build automated self-help solutions, and create training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in architecting and designing datacentre and cloud infrastructures using VMware and Microsoft technologies.
  • Knowledge and implementation experience designing and developing solutions using VMware's Core Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Azure VMware Solution.
  • VMware vSphere 6.0 and above.
  • VMware NSX network virtualization technologies.
  • NSX edge services, DNS, DHCP, Gateway, Firewall, Distributed Firewall.
  • NSX implementation.
  • NSX migration from VLAN or NSXv.
  • VMware vSAN.
  • VMware HCX Advanced Enterprise.
  • Preferred: VMware Site Recovery Manager, vSphere Replication.
  • Preferred: VMware management suite, vCD, vROps, vRNI, vRLI.
  • Preferred: VMware Cloud Director.
  • Experience with on-premises-to-cloud or cloud-to-cloud migrations with VMware HCX.
  • Experience with relevant Azure technologies.
