Job Title: Senior Public Relations Consultant

This role requires a self-starter who thinks and acts like a leader, aligning with management and clients' vision, values, and goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising daily with clients and media via telephone and email
  • Building strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, media, and marketing teams
  • Managing the PR aspect of a possible crisis
  • Providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of public relations strategies and tactics.

Core ResponsibilitiesClient & Media Relations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement PR campaigns to achieve business objectives
  • Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction
Media Monitoring & Coverage
  • Monitor traditional and digital media for coverage of clients and their industries
  • Analyze and evaluate media coverage to identify trends and areas for improvement
Publicity & Campaign Management
  • Develop and execute publicity strategies to raise awareness and build brand reputation
  • Create and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media
  • Promote news stories and features through social media and other channels
Event Management
  • Organize and manage events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure smooth execution of events
Brand Development
  • Develop and foster relationships with brands and 3rd parties on behalf of El Sol Strategic Consultants
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising
Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement
  • Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness and influence
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities
Research & Analysis
  • Commission and undertake market research to inform business decisions
  • Analyze industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies
Team Contribution
  • Motivate and support team members to deliver high-quality results
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
