Job Title: Public Relations Expert

The role of a Public Relations Expert is pivotal in managing the reputation and public image of an organization. At BALCO, we are seeking an experienced and skilled PR professional to join our team.

BALCO has made significant contributions as the first PSU in India's Aluminum sector. Incorporated in 1965, BALCO has been closely associated with the Industrial Growth, playing a pivotal role. With smelter capacity of 5.70 LTPA, Power generation capacity of 2010 MW, Bauxite production capacity of 6.8 MTPA, and Coal block capacity of 1 MTPA, BALCO aims to be a world-class Integrated Aluminum and Power producer generating sustainable value for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Communication Planning:
    • Develop and execute long-term communication strategies aligned with the organization's objectives.
    • Identify key communication opportunities and optimize messaging for impact and relevance.
  • Media Relations Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and international media outlets.
    • Ensure consistent and accurate media coverage of the organization's achievements, projects, and corporate activities.
  • Internal Communication:
    • Oversee internal communication strategies to ensure effective information flow within the organization.
    • Foster employee engagement by ensuring transparent and consistent messaging.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communication, public relations, or media relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
