Legal & Taxation Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal & Taxation Specialist to provide comprehensive support in various legal, compliance, and taxation matters.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze legal documents such as non-disclosure agreements, supplier contracts, and customer agreements for thoroughness and accuracy.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal documents.
  3. Periodically review and update legal documents before their expiry dates to ensure continuity.
  4. Support secretarial compliances including directors' registrations, minutes of meetings, and annual returns with precision.
  5. Communicate effectively with headquarters regarding documentation and legal requirements.
  6. Review vendor agreements and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  7. Examine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and authorization tables from a finance perspective to identify areas for improvement.
  8. Support internal control framework (ICFR) and dematerialization of shares to enhance efficiency.
  9. Prepare a compliance calendar for all legal and tax due dates to ensure timely completion.
  10. Stay informed about taxation and legal changes and disseminate knowledge to the team accordingly.
  11. Assist with taxation and finance matters assigned by the finance head with expertise.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Commerce or Law with CA Inter, LLB, or CS Inter qualifications is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is desired.
