Job Opportunity: Legal Support Professional

This role involves providing comprehensive legal and compliance assistance across various business units.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Obtain and renew statutory licenses, approvals, and permissions for factories and projects.
  • Coordinate with government agencies for subsidies and incentives.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage litigation matters including civil, criminal, arbitration, and recovery cases.
  • Liaise with external counsels, courts, and government departments for case resolution and day-to-day support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations across factories through audits and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records and repositories of contracts, licenses, and legal documents with timely renewal alerts.
  • Support land-related matters including acquisition, leasing, and updating land records.
  • Provide assistance in brand protection and intellectual property management.
  • Collaborate with business and finance teams to track recoveries and manage legal claims.
  • Travel to factories, project sites, and markets as required for legal and compliance work.
  • Handle local legal issues impacting operations.
  • Other legal tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • LLB / LLM (LLM preferred)

Experience:

  • 4–9 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, litigation, and compliance.
  • Effective contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in legal documentation tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
