Job Description

As a seasoned backend professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of our systems and leading a talented team of engineers. Your expertise in various technologies and leadership skills will be essential in driving our projects to success.

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 backend engineers, ensuring high-quality code delivery, adherence to best practices, and timely project completion.
  • Hands-on development using TypeScript, Node.Js, and NestJs to build robust and scalable backend systems.
  • Proficient in managing databases PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Implement efficient data storage and retrieval strategies.
  • Expertise in Elasticsearch.
  • Work with Neptune and Gremlin to handle complex data structures and relationships.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high-quality software.
  • Work closely with frontend teams, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business goals.
  • Plan, track, and report on project progress. Manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.Js, PostgreSQL and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience in architecture and database design.
  • Proven experience leading a team of engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in scaling backend.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Prior experience in a similar lead role.
