Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable Java-based backend applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

About the Role:
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting complex software systems that meet business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy robust Java-based backend applications using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create functional design documents.
  • Develop solutions that incorporate expertise in XML, IBM WebSphere MQ, relational databases (SQL, JDBC), and entity frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Core Technologies: Strong proficiency in Core Java.
  • Frameworks: Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Messaging & Data: Solid experience with XML and IBM WebSphere MQ.
  • Databases: Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL, JDBC) and entity frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Frontend: Good exposure to Angular.
  • DevOps: Experience with DevOps practices.
  • Operating Systems: Experience with Linux and Shell scripting.


Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Kafka, cloud technologies, and Scala.
  • Large-scale DB2 databases and a background in the financial services/banking industry is a plus.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in building Java-based backend applications and over all 7-10 years of experience.
