We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in building robust, scalable backend systems and hands-on experience in blockchain-related architectures. Your role will be central in designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems that drive seamless transactions, real-time performance, and crypto-native integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Architecture & Scalability

  • Design and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems for blockchain and Web3 applications.
  • Optimize system performance for high transaction throughput, low latency, and global scale.
  • Architect microservices and APIs that power crypto wallets, trading engines, and decentralized apps.

Blockchain Integration

  • Build backend systems that interact with blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, etc.) for smart contract execution, transaction processing, and data storage.
  • Develop APIs and SDKs to bridge traditional web apps with decentralized platforms.
  • Ensure security, reliability, and integrity of blockchain-related data pipelines.

System Design & Development

  • Lead backend design discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and automated testing for backend services.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and security teams to deliver production-ready features.

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Build and scale backend systems on AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Implement caching, load balancing, and database optimizations for large-scale workloads.
  • Manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) for crypto and transaction-heavy environments.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3–5 years in backend engineering, with at least 2+ years in blockchain/crypto-related systems.
  • Strong knowledge of backend frameworks (Node.js, Hapi.js, Express, NestJS, Vue.js or similar).
  • Proven track record of designing and scaling distributed systems and APIs.
  • Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc.).
  • Experience integrating with blockchain nodes, smart contracts, and crypto wallets.
  • Hands-on with microservices, event-driven systems, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Solid grasp of security, authentication, and encryption in backend systems.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, or high-frequency trading systems.
  • Familiarity with smart contract languages (Solidity, Rust, Move).
  • Cloud-native deployments with Kubernetes & Docker.
  • Performance optimization for high-load environments.
  • Knowledge of Web3 SDKs/APIs (Ethers.js, Web3.js, WalletConnect, etc.).
