Job Title: Senior Backend Developer Specialist

As a seasoned software engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead complex backend development projects.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be an expert in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure APIs using Java Spring Boot and other technologies. They should have hands-on experience with API Gateway platforms like Apigee and Azure services. Additionally, they should possess a deep understanding of security concepts such as SSL/TLS, Basic Authentication, OAuth, and exposure to Confluent Kafka and kstreams architecture.

They will also be responsible for working closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of our applications. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Develop high-quality backend systems using Java Spring Boot and related technologies.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for data exchange between systems.
  • Work with databases, including relational databases and NoSQL solutions.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms for secure access to APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of backend systems.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expert-level knowledge of Java and Spring Boot framework.
  • Strong understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience with API Gateway platforms like Apigee and Azure services.
  • Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and kstreams architecture.
  • Understanding of security concepts, including SSL/TLS, Basic Authentication, and OAuth.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
