Seeking a skilled Product Owner to lead Transaction Monitoring initiatives and mitigate financial crime risk. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing TM tools and driving business success.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced professional with a strong background in data science, compliance advisory, and project management.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on technical solutions are required.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices is essential.
  • Experience as a Product Owner to manage Transaction Monitoring tools is mandatory.
  • Strong project management skills and presentation skills are also essential.

Key Technical Competencies:

  • Data Science
  • Compliance Advisory
  • Risk Management
  • Surveillance (Specifically Monitoring)
  • Statistical Modelling/Machine Learning/Data Analysis
  • SQL/HQL/Hive/Hadoop scripting and databases such as Oracle and HaaS
  • R/Python/SAS/STATA/C++/SCALA Programming
  • Strong coding skills in Python, R, SQL and familiarity with data engineering practices for model integration

We prefer candidates with certifications from ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating TM systems with core banking platforms and data warehouses with familiarity of cloud platforms for scalable TM solutions.
