About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our remote team, you'll play a crucial role in developing high-quality backend systems that power our product.

You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable and efficient solutions using technologies like NestJS, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust GraphQL APIs using NestJS
  • Develop secure and performant backend services handling large-scale data
  • Integrate with various data stores and messaging queues (Kafka)
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver full-stack features
  • Write modular, testable, and maintainable code
  • Build and manage microservices and background workers
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for development, testing, and deployment
  • Maintain code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
  • Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development
  • Proficiency with AWS services
  • Strong knowledge of Postgres and DynamoDB
  • Hands-on experience with Docker
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
