Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

This is a diverse role requiring a highly commercial and analytical individual who is also prepared to get their hands dirty whilst the business is relatively early stage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and execution of audit of Internal Financial control over financial reporting and preparing internal audit report. Statutory audit, revenue audit, preparation of TDS return and Income Tax Return with support from local advisors.
  • Responsible for all accounting related issues such as budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met and that all financial transactions are properly documented.
  • Financial reporting and budgeting, reporting to the management team on a regular basis.
  • Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs and manage budget through cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Responsible for controlling income, cash flow, and expenditure. Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information to inform business decisions.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, and other financial metrics.
  • Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk and maximize returns on investment.
  • Responsible for preparing and managing the process of procurement, stock/inventory, maintaining records of debtors and creditors, and ensuring timely payment.
  • Responsible for payroll management, including processing payrolls, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Responsible for preparing and analysing monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports to track key performance indicators and make informed business decisions.
  • Responsible for providing ROC compliances, annual filing, incorporation of company, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Daily sales reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Analyse financial data and create/maintain financial models for decision support.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Represent Finance within the UK Commercial team to ensure that business planning, accounting, and control are integrated into the decision-making process within the Commercial function.
  • Participate in Finance and multi-function project teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
  • Benchmarking analysis to compare financial performance against industry standards.
  • Prepare business cases to justify investments and improve financial performance.
