About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the quality and reliability of our software applications.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in automation testing, API testing, and database testing to ensure the highest standards of quality are met.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who can design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, develop automated testing frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 5 years of experience in automation testing, API testing, and database testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute automation testing strategies using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG.
  2. Design and implement API testing frameworks using Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or similar.
  3. Conduct database testing, writing SQL queries for validation, and ensure data integrity.
  4. Mentor and manage QA teams in an Agile environment, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  5. Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing using Jenkins, GitLab, and other tools.
