Role Overview

 We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager eCommerce to spearhead the delivery of our eCommerce technology initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the right team capacity, quality, and operational efficiency within the domain.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Align talent, resources, and processes to meet business needs and project delivery goals.
  • Remove impediments, ensure roadmap execution, and foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and data-driven improvement.
  • Build and sustain high-performing teams by implementing data-driven strategies.
  • Drive technical understanding to guide, assess, and improve team performance effectively as hierarchical manager of technical professionals.

 Performance Metrics

  • Drive capacity planning and delivery alignment with Lead Product Owner, Business owners, and Product Owners for upcoming roadmaps.
  • Define and monitor clear performance goals for technical team members using data to track progress and enable targeted improvements.
  • Ensure timely hiring and onboarding of internal and partner resources with the required skill sets.
  • Define and drive the future sourcing strategy based on long-term delivery needs and capability building.
  • Monitor and report on delivery progress, escalating risks, and proposing solutions proactively.

 Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in a delivery/sourcing management role.
  • Proven experience leading large cross-functional development teams in a fast-paced eCommerce or digital environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • General knowledge of technology stacks relevant to eCommerce (Salesforce, SAP, ESB, Zendesk, Salsify) and ability to engage with engineers, architects, and developers.
