Lead Front-End UI Developer

This role involves leading the development and implementation of responsive front-end UI architecture for micro frontends. The ideal candidate will ensure high performance, WCAG-compliance, scalability, and maintainability.


Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement modern software engineering practices, API design, and architecture to support integration with existing systems as well as external cloud-based services.
  • Effectively utilize AI coding assistants in day-to-day workflow, including prompt design and guard-railing.
  • Collaborate with Frontend and Backend Architects to rationalize design and translate into requirements for implementation.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure that the UI meets the needs of our users and is aligned with the overall product vision.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual work setting.
  • Strong proficiency in React or similar stack.
  • Hands-on experience with Next.js, micro frontends, server-side rendering (SSR), client-side rendering (CSR), and static site generation (SSG).
  • Strong commitment to quality deliverables with proficiency in unit, integration, acceptance, and contract testing.
