Job Title: Technical Architecture Expert

This role requires in-depth knowledge of the Appian platform, encompassing its core capabilities, data fabric, AI-powered tools, RPA, and other relevant technologies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Serve as the primary advisor to business and IT leaders on Appian strategy.
    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Appian solutions.
    • Lead architectural discussions, influencing decisions regarding Appian implementations.
  • Design and Implementation:
    • Design scalable and sustainable Appian architectures, incorporating integration with other enterprise systems.
    • Oversight of Appian application development and customization using Appian designer and other development tools.
    • Leveraging modern technologies, such as cloud capabilities from various platforms, to build efficient solutions.
  • Governance and Best Practices:
    • Establishment and enforcement of Appian best practices and governance frameworks.
    • Ensuring solutions are built for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Leading cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of Appian solutions.
    • Mentorship and development of team members, enhancing their Appian capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Staying up-to-date with Appian product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
    • Recommendation and implementation of improvements to existing Appian solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Appian's core platform and development tools, proficiency in integration technologies, and knowledge of cloud platforms. They should also exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and experience in architecting scalable, high-performing Appian architectures.

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with certifications like Appian Senior Developer Certification. At least 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and architecting via Appian platform is necessary.
