Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new sales opportunities and effectively close deals to meet targets.
  • Manage client relationships, negotiate agreements, generate leads, qualify prospects, and oversee the sales process for our products and services.
  • Maximize sales performance by establishing strong relationships and gaining insight into the needs of clients.
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales and activity quotas.
  • Generate leads and commit to customer service by building relationships.
  • Adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
  • Perform incisive and insightful market and competitive research.
  • Make cold calls or perform warm outreach, putting outside-the-box thinking to work to develop new and unique sales tactics.
  • Help establish yearly action plans, yearly targets, and follow up on them.

Your Day-to-Day Missions and Tasks:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the technical and commercial strategy for Industrial Reliability Portable Products or Services in Maharashtra & Goa Region of India.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to stay informed about market trends and competitors' activities.
  • Provide business intelligence on the market to identify major projects.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand sales effectively.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of activities, update the commercial database, and provide business forecasts to the Sales Head.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in business development or sales within a B2B setting.
  • Preference for experience in Condition Monitoring & Laser Alignment Systems solutions.
  • Technical proficiency in Vibration is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of initiating cold calls/visits to drive new business prospects.
  • Capability to establish enduring, robust customer relationships.
  • Solid comprehension of engineering or scientific instruments.
  • Experience in the sales of technical products and services.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software.
  • Track record of successfully closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Aptitude for analyzing business opportunities and navigating diverse situations effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Familiarity with tender procedures and sales techniques.

Desired Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, with preference given to those experienced in condition monitoring sales.
  • Self-motivated individual with a knack for self-learning and proficiency in using various instruments and software.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, with fluency in spoken Marathi and Hindi.
  • Demonstrated energy, drive, and strong teamwork abilities, fostering positive relationships across all stakeholder levels.
  • Exceptional communication, planning, and organizational skills.
