Business Transformation Leader
Grant Thornton is seeking a Business Transformation Leader to drive transformational results and exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in professional services, with a strong background in accounting and finance. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with a CA or US CPA certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee global consolidation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review currency translation activities, applying foreign exchange rates and reporting standards.
- Take responsibility for project load, communicating with supervisors on direction, status, and issue resolution.
- Apply U.S. GAAP knowledge to record financial transactions properly.
- Supervise analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring documentation meets departmental standards.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, supporting schedules, journal entries, and ad hoc reports.
- Create project structure, including written procedures and improved documentation. Streamline processes to improve efficiency and eliminate redundancy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience in a medium- to large-sized partnership or corporate accounting environment.
- 4 years of successful supervisory experience.
