Retail/Home-Loan Underwriting Expert

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail/home-loan underwriting, with expertise in converting complex knowledge into actionable training content. They will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs that cater to diverse learners, focusing on topics such as risk assessment, policy interpretation, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training strategies to enhance the skills of community reviewers in retail/home-loan underwriting.
- Create engaging and interactive training content, including modules, quizzes, and checklists, to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop quality rubrics and acceptance criteria for training and review workflows.
- Design data capture requirements for cases, ensuring accurate and compliant decision rationales.
- Foster a culture of ethics and privacy, guaranteeing PII handling and fairness in training and review processes.
Requirements:
- 4-8 years of experience in retail/home-loan underwriting with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
- Proven track record in training or mentorship, with the ability to teach beginners and non-technical learners.
- Strong understanding of calculations and documents, including FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, and credit bureau reports.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages may be beneficial.
