Job Description

This role involves project management and implementation with a focus on timely execution, quality delivery, and community engagement.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for rolling out projects in accordance with plans, tracking progress, and collaborating with internal teams to secure necessary support.
  • A key aspect of this role is the development of innovative approaches to project activities, as well as addressing operational challenges promptly.
  • Frequent field visits will be required to monitor progress and ensure goals are met.

In addition to project execution, the candidate will be expected to develop partnerships and advocacy efforts with stakeholders at various levels.

  • This will involve building and maintaining relationships with private, government, academic, and NGO sectors.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for increasing project visibility among government and other stakeholders.
  • Opportunities to align stakeholder activities with project goals will be identified, and representation at meetings, committees, and advocacy forums will be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a graduate degree in Social Work or a related field, along with 1+ years of experience in program implementation in the social sector.

  • Fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages is required.
  • Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods is essential.
