Software Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of country instances.

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring software bugs are detected early in the Software Development Lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to promote continuous alignment, and implementing automated tests for multiple testing scenarios.
  • The ideal candidate will have solid experience with automated testing, knowledge of at least one software development language, and experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.

A successful candidate will also have experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing and be familiar with tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar.

In addition to the required skills, we value experience building Load/Stress Tests using tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark, and expertise in continuous integration/deployment environments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for continuously extending the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of bugs and risks, working closely with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are achieved, and proposing process improvements in the context of our continuous improvement strategy.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can master all the needed tools and components required to perform assigned tasks, follow software development best practices and methodologies, and produce relevant documentation and guidelines to support the quality as everyone's responsibility strategy.

  • The following qualifications are not mandatory but will be valued:
  • Experience building tests in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured, or similar tools
