Training Manager - Luxury Retail

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the entire training process for a luxury retail organization, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring employees embody the brand's values. This position involves managing multiple aspects of employee development, including product knowledge, client handling, soft skills, leadership development, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall training strategy for the company, aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify training needs through targeted needs identification (TNI) and collaborate with senior leaders to design customized programs.
  • Create a comprehensive training roadmap covering all levels, from frontline staff to leadership teams.
  • Work closely with Retail Operations, Merchandising, and Human Resources to integrate training into the company culture.

Program Development & Delivery:

  • Design and deliver interactive training modules on luxury customer service, clienteling, selling skills, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to create engaging product knowledge sessions.
  • Implement blended learning solutions, combining e-learning and in-person training, to improve accessibility.

Quality & Standards:

  • Ensure consistent delivery of brand training across all stores and regions.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, mystery audits, customer feedback, and sales performance metrics.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting metrics for training impact.
  • Standardize induction programs for all new hires.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Training & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, or hospitality is essential.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms, instructional design, and global training standards is highly desirable.
