**Sensor Systems Specialist Role**

We're seeking a skilled Sensor Systems Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing cutting-edge sensor systems for industrial applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, and machine vision systems. They will be responsible for prototyping sensor setups, selecting hardware, designing mounts and enclosures, and supporting integration with DAQ tools and PLCs.

This is a part-time opportunity (approximately 20 hours/week) based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments. If you're a problem-solver with practical mechanical setup skills and experience with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics, we'd like to hear from you.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and prototyping sensor systems for industrial applications
  • Selecting and integrating hardware components
  • Designing mounts and enclosures for sensor systems
  • Supporting integration with DAQ tools and PLCs
  • Troubleshooting and iterating quickly when challenges arise

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Ability to design practical mechanical setups
  • Comfortable with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections
  • Willingness to get hands dirty in high-heat/industrial environments
  • Availability ~20 hrs/week (flexible schedule)
