Job Title: Automation Project Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
  • Design and specify automation systems, including PLC/SCADA programming, HMI development, robotics integration, sensor selection, and network architecture.
  • Evaluate and select automation equipment and system vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery and quality of supplied components and services.
  • Develop, program, and configure PLC and HMI systems.
  • Oversight of the integration of various automation components and systems.
  • Lead testing, commissioning, and validation phases of automation projects.
  • Supervise installation of automation equipment and wiring according to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support for existing automation systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement necessary modifications or upgrades.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering).
  • Post-graduate diploma in a related field (e.g., automation engineering).
  • 0-5 years of experience in automation project management.
